Gina  Pongetti is the clinic owner and manager of the Darien/Willowbrook OccuSport Physical Therapy. OccuSport as a company is the premier provider of sports medicine, elite level athlete rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athletic training services.  Gina has been working with adolescent, collegiate, adult and professional athletes of all genres.  She was a highly respected and accomplished gymnast within the USA Gymnastics national program, and was a dancer in conjunction.  As a physical therapist, Gina is well published for injury prevention articles, as well as a Health Care Advisor for "Inside Gymnastics" and "Inside Cheerleading" Magazines.  She is also published for preventative medicine articles for triathlons and marathons.

Gina serves on the National Health Care network for USA Gymnastics as well as on the treatment team for Ironman ® Triathlons.  She is one of a select few to treat amateurs, age-groupers, and Professionals at the full distance races throughout the country.  She was honored this past year to be able to be on the provider team at Ironman World Championships in Kona, HI.  

Gina focuses her effort on the adolescent athlete, their rehabilitation, as well as creating injury prevention programs for soccer players, runners, dancers and gymnasts, and high school competitive athletes.  She and OccuSport run strength, agility and stretching programs for groups in Illinois and country-wide.
