Content the U8 Lion Hawks enjoyed a great weekend of success at the sixth annual Bolingbrook Soccer Festival. All nine players made key contributions while playing a number of different positions.

The team defeated the Oswego Panthers 2-0, the Bolingbrook Raiders 6-0 and Lions Township Liverpool 1-0.

Key in those shutouts was the goal keeping efforts of Brendan Cain, Tommy Burlet, Brennan Hincks, Brendan Lynch, Duke Hindman and Jacob Wood.

Goal scorers included Jack Carroll (3), Burlet (2), Donny Martin, Lynch and Axel Nefve (2).
