U9 Skyhawks Win Glen Ellyn Fall Classic

The U9 Skyhawks of the Hawks Soccer Club captured the championship trophy at the Glen Ellyn Fall Classic Columbus Day Weekend. The Skyhawks outscored their opponents 20-2. Battling their way through four games played in unseasonable heat and humidity, all eight players made key contributions to the victory. In addition to their crucial play on the field, Kristin Iaffaldano, Jordan Angus, Lila Loughlin and Sophie Dubrovay each played goalie holding their opponents to two goals. Peyton Kuhlman, Stephanie Mara, Katie Morrone and Caroline Renehan were unstoppable on both offense and defense. Not pictured are Kate Beja and Grace Hartzman.
